It’s shows that a less intrusive “trust people to be sociable” approach has merits. All the things theyre getting rid of are indeed ugly and intrusive tokens of top down control, and it’s profoundly liberating to find they are unnecessary. I think it’s a very good analogy for how self-organising networks present apowerful alternative totop down centralised systems.
