I hope it is alright to do this but I wished to point out that Jim Kinney, who leads the programme in Scotland is presenting in London at a dinner and discussion surrounding the principles and practicalities of implementing citizen-centric transformation in the public sector.
Taking place on Monday 11th June 2007 at The Imperial War Museum, London, you will hear from Jim Kinney, Director of Operational Services at The Improvement Service, who will reveal how the Scottish “Customer First” Programme is addressing the way citizens interact with government bodies, the impact to date, lessons learnt and discuss the valuable role technology can play in the drive for integrated service delivery.

For anyone in this field who would like to see what is happening north of the border, hope you can go.
