Keep that election petition quiet!

Yesterday Gordon Brown taunted David Cameron with the paltry 26 e-signatures on a Downing Street election petition. I checked it today, and Mark Batty’s petition seems to have 7159 signatures. Amazing what a bit of prime time publicity will do. I wonder at what level the gag is deemed to backfire? We’ve all moved on, haven’t we.

PS Update. Oh no, we haven’t. Belatedly I see this is all over the Beeb and the dodgo-blogosphere; even on Newsnight. Shd have checked. And it’s now 8015.

Ideal Government

Let's say what we want from e-enabled government. Let's observe government first-hand. Let's say "Wouldn't It Be Better If" (WIBBI). Become an ethnographer of bureaucracy today! It beats getting frustrated with public services.
