US Army urges dead to re-enlist

We’ve all made mistakes sending out mailshots, but this from the US Army is a particularly clueless bit of mechanised government: US Army urges dead to re-enlist (from BBC).

Speaking of the US&A (which we still can’t visit without being fingerprinted) is there any other country where satire is so much cleverer than policy? Finally saw Team America last night; their “bad” computer called I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E belongs on our pertinent art list.

Ideal Government

Let's say what we want from e-enabled government. Let's observe government first-hand. Let's say "Wouldn't It Be Better If" (WIBBI). Become an ethnographer of bureaucracy today! It beats getting frustrated with public services.
