This man Moores is at it again! He had an even stranger encounter with an obscure tribe whose defining purpose is the ritual granting of permission to watch one’s own TV. The tribe granted him the permission, then wrote to him after he bought another TV saying they’d given him the wrong permission in the first place.

They say they’re going to fine him or imprison him. He says they’re morons.

He’s recorded the encounter well – he’s a natural. Imagine if he does get imprisoned – where would his blog take us then?

I’ve posted two comments asking him for the corresponding “wibbi”s. Will he send them? Will he call me a moron? Or will he ignore it? Let’s see…

One Response to “Watching the wrong sort of TV”

I finally had a response to my email from the TV licnesing mafia. It’s been passed to customer services and “One of our agents will be contacting you soon”… How long is soon I wonder, I’m going to Oman on Friday and I worry that when I return home, they will have raided my house and confiscated my dog or wife or both until I pay up for the license I have already paid for! either way, the operation appears to be run by Capita so what more can I say.. “We know where you live”!
