Update – problem solved – see extended text/comment. Thanks to correspondents who have pointed out weird formatting in IE….I’m checking out what causes this. Please bear with me (unless you are familiar with this problem and know how to cure it in which case I look forward to hearing from you)! Meanwhile it seems to work fine with Mozilla/Firefox.

Problem cured – thanks Perry.
He saw an over-long URL in a blockquote, turned it into a hotlink instead which is more elegant and solves the problem.
