Kable is working on a cost/benefit financial model for the ID system project. At the moment it’s a DIY model where you can put in your own assumptions (eg for how many readers per airport and cost per card/iris scanner etc)

The team there would be delighted to hear from people with experience of realistic costs for this sort of project. Mail me if you want to have a look and comment on the assumptions. But it’s not for general circulation just yet please.

Anyone seen any details at all on costings from the Home Office, or from Intellect?
