Aghhhhhhh. It’s interesting just how frustrated clunky and malfunctioning e-government makes you feel.

The prescription pricing authority website has been unable to process applications for pre-payment certificates for 2 days now. And I have to admit to being more than slightly flummoxed by the site itself – it’s certainly a pretty tricksy site to find your way around.

WIBBI things were mended speedily when they don’t work; if a notice declaring what’s going on was put in place when systems are down, so you don’t spend hours filling in details only for the transaction to fail at the last hurdle (again); if you could save applications half way through in case you get disturbed (or the site goes down)… *sigh*
