You want all our emails? Here you go…

Have you heard about “cc all your emails to Jacqui Smith day”? You can sign up here. It strikes me as a good protest against the encroaching surveillance society:

– it’s non-violent
– it makes you reflect about the sort of emails which the super-benighted IMP will record
– it’s pertinent and proportionate
– it’s quite funny because the protester is actually overtly helping government do what it is trying to do behind the scenes.

Great idea,as you say it will save the government doing behind our backs.

A great idea… which might even help government budgets: Last week a friendly spammer offered me 49 Billion (Dollars, not “Great British Pounds”!) After a few of those, the government could buy another bank. 🙂
